There are some brands that just get it right.
And, by right we mean good designs, great quality and fit - and even better prices.
One such brand is London-based Kitri, which burst onto the scene in 2017 with limited runs of pretty midi dresses, sophisticated blouses and uber-wearable shirting.
Fashionable without being too slavishly on-trend and of quality that is a cut above anything you’ll find on the high street, Kitri’s midi dresses, most of which cost around £145, have quickly become a go-to for wedding guest dressing up and down the country.
Now, the brand is taking a step even further into our wardrobes with the launch of a capsule collection of coats and jackets.
The collection, which goes on sale on Sunday, October 13, comprises eight styles, and has something for every mood and weather condition – from a cow print knee-length faux fur number, perfect for keeping cosy on your commute, to a pastel pink faux-fur trim belted wool coat that's the ideal winter wedding guest warmer.
A leopard print vegan puffer coat comes in two lengths, the short (£195) would look perfect with jeans and a tee while the long (£245) is crying out to be taken to the Alps.
Vegan leather features elsewhere on two super practical belted jackets – one with a faux fur cow print collar, the other in a delicious bottle green that would look fabulous paired with a lilac knit and tweed trousers.
The highlight of the collection though has to be the ‘Veronica’ navy mock croc coat, which comes with a detachable faux fur lapel and is more than a little reminiscent of Danish cool-girl favourites Saks Potts.
