Is Instagram making our dining experiences more memorable?

It’s certainly harder to forget a signature dish once it’s been burnt into your retinas by the ministrations of the digital gastrocracy.

We called on nine of London’s top food influencers to vote for their best-loved social media dishes of the year, and what a feast they came up with…

From Rosie Birkett, Perm Pataiyawat, Edward Smith and more, we were introduced to BAO's pig blood cake crowned with an egg yolk, Kitty Fisher's new take on fish fingers, and even a sticky Portuguese crème caramel, courtesy of Taberna do Mercado (a dish tweeted and Instagrammed by Nigella Lawson last month).
