Strictly Come Dancing 2015: Jay McGuiness accidentally 'kicks Aliona Vilani in the head twice' during tough rehearsals

Strictly Come Dancing duo Jay McGuiness and Aliona Vilani have both been injured during rehearsals for this weekend’s show.

Vilani has been teaching McGuiness the Argentine Tango – but the confusing moves have seen the Wanted singer kick her in the head twice, according to reports.

“It has all been going very smoothly for Jay and it looked like he would foxtrot to the final,” a source told the Daily Mirror.

“But this week has been filled with problems. He can’t get his head round the steps and has kicked Aliona a few times. They’ve barely completed it correctly at all.”

It’s not just Vilani who is suffering. McGuiness is struggling with his knee, leaving him unable to train as hard as usual.

The source continued: “Now Jay’s knee is leaving him in real pain too so they can’t work too hard. He’s starting to feel the pressure.”

Speaking to Hello! McGuiness – who is the only celebrity to secure a 10 from the judges on this series – said: “I'm learning styles I've never done before. Believe me, without Aliona, it would be a car crash.”
