Harry Judd wins Strictly Come Dancing 2015 Christmas special

Harry Judd has been crowned the Strictly Come Dancing Christmas champion.

Judd, 29, danced his way to the top with professional partner Joanne Clifton in one of the closest Christmas competitions ever, which saw four former champions thrown into the mix.

The McFly drummer – who won the BBC ballroom show in 2011 – dressed up as Jack Frost for the festive special to dance the American Smooth to Baby It’s Cold Outside.

Bruno Tonioli deemed the routine “exquisite” while head judge Len Goodman said the dance was as “smooth as ice-cream melting on a hot mince pie”.

Mr Nasty – Craig Revel Horwood – said: “I absolutely loved it. I thought it was fab-u-lous!”

He received four 10’s from the judges and was crowned champion after his 40 points were combined with the audience vote.

Judd faced tough competition from returning champion Tom Chambers who also scored 40 points for his Charleston to Santa Clause is Coming to Town with professional partner Otlile Mabuse.

Abbey Clancy took second place with 39 points following her “beautiful” Waltz to Nat King Cole’s When I Fall in Love with Brendan Cole.

Lisa Snowdon, Alison Hammond and the first ever People’s Strictly champion Cassidy Little also took part in the Christmas special which saw Shirley Bassey and Blake perform their festive collaboration, The Christmas Song.
