"It was fantastic to see young players with such personality and skill," he said. "Oliveira scored a superb goal and has a lot of potential. He moves well, he's got skill and the goal will give him confidence for important games in the future.
"Whether he comes into the first team in the Premiership will depend on the manager and whether the other strikers give him a chance. But I think he can do well and there are a lot of other good players coming through, too.
"That's important for Chelsea and important for me.
"I know that if I want to keep on playing then I have to be play even better than the youngsters and that keeps me focused. I am feeling very sharp.
"I want to be there playing with these young players and although people say it could be my last season, I don't know about that."
