"There was nothing I could do about it. The only thing I could do is go out there and race and try and win another medal," she added.
"I was really happy with the race and how it went. It's brilliant."
Woods revealed she dealt with the ordeal with the best possible medicine - laughter.
She watched replays of the first race and was amused by a moment which followed the crash.
"The guy who rang the bell on the last lap, he broke the bell - it came off in his hand," she said. "Everytime I think about the crash I just remember that guy breaking the bell and it just tickles me to think about it."
Woods competes in the women's T54 800m semi-final tomorrow before taking part in the 1,500m on Monday and Tuesday and the marathon on Wednesday.
