Wise's plea

Dennis Wise says Millwall can challenge for promotion if he can bring in a couple of new faces.

However, there will not be any movement until his own future as manager has been resolved.

Wise said: "If I put my fit XI against any other XI in the division I'd fancy us strongly, but we haven't got the depth.

"We need two more decent players. Whether I can get them is another thing as I don't know the situation on the budget or how the new chairman wants to do things."

Danny Dichio (knee) is a doubt for tomorrow's match at Sheffield United, while Andy Marshall (head injury) is out.
