It was initially thought that he would only be out of action for a couple of days, but he has had to endure six weeks on the sidelines during one of the busiest periods of the season. The Dublin-born rider took Kieren Fallon's place as Lynda Ramsden's stable jockey and also rides for Tim Easterby. His agent, Richard Hale, said: "He's missed a lot of winners and it was sickening for him to get injured in June and July when Tim scores a lot, but there are some nice two-year-olds for him to look forward to at both stables and plenty of outside rides."
