Win gives Coleman plenty to shout about

Chris Coleman has admitted that getting results and not serving-up entertaining football is his primary concern.

On Saturday the Fulham manager watched his side, who required extra time to defeat Derby 4-2 in their FA Cup fourth-round replay, struggle to rouse home supporters with a listless first-half performance.

However, Coleman pointed to next weekend's fifth-round clash with Bolton together with Fulham's recent improvement in the

Premiership as evidence that his team are moving in the right direction.

"We have lost one game in 10, so are doing something okay," said Coleman. "I don't care about [pretty football], my main objective is that we stay in the league. And we could be in the quarter-final of the Cup this week, so we are doing something right." Fulham's trip to Bolton will allow Claus Jensen the opportunity to play against his former club. The Denmark midfielder, who has been suffering with a hamstring problem, scored his first Fulham goal on Saturday when he appeared as a late substitute.

Derby led through Grzegorz Rasiak, but Papa Bouba Diop's penalty and Luis Boa Morte's strike put Fulham in the ascendancy. Although Paul Peschisolido force extra time, Collins John and Jensen secured the win.
