Wilson said: "This is the best Tottenham team I have seen in a very, very long time and it will take all Arsenal's luck to get a result.
"One thing in Arsenal's favour is that Glenn has just won the manager of the month, and you know what they say about that honour bringing the kiss of death."
Wilson has told Wright that despite the white-hot atmosphere the derby crowd will generate, he must keep cool.
He added: "It is scary, but it is also exciting. The adrenaline flows, but especially as a keeper, you have to keep your excitement balanced, you have to keep calm when it matters.
"Because if you make a mistake, the game can go in a flash. Despite everything that is going on, you have to remain ice-cold in your decision making."
As revealed yesterday by Standard Sport, Seaman may need an exploratory operation on his damaged shoulder, so Wright could be in for a long run in the first team. Spurs will have 42-year-old Dave Beasant on the bench as their goalkeeping substitute.
The former Wimbledon and Chelsea player signed a two month contract at Tottenham yesterday after leaving Portsmouth.
Beasant said: "It just came out of the blue and it's very exciting for me. Tottenham have one or two injury worries with their goalkeepers.
"I've known Glenn Hoddle for a number of years and he knows I won't let him down.
"I'm available for the Arsenal match if they need me. It's the kind of match you really want to play in."
Beasant, who has also played for played for Newcastle, Grimsby, Wolves, Southampton and Nottingham Forest, said: "It doesn't matter what age you are, it's about how fit you are - and I am in good shape.
"I feel really sharp and I don't think that I have ever worked as hard as I have done over the last year or so to stay fit.
"As you get older you have to do that to make sure your reactions are still good. But I'm confident Tottenham won't have any worries at calling on me if I'm needed."
