Williamson spent last winter training from 6am to 9am in the indoor athletics halls at Crystal Palace before heading off to her teaching training course or to her teaching practice school in Bromley.
Despite considering Beijing, she has not thought of postponing the start to her career as a full-time primary teacher
She said: "I love being in the classroom. This would really be a good 'show and tell', wouldn't it? I would love to take the medal into school - if they invite me."
