Wilkins: Millwall's strike force is as good as it gets

Ray Wilkins believes Millwall have a front line to rival any outside the Premiership.

After suffering earlyseason scoring problems, Dennis Wise's side have now struck six goals in their last two games to move up to sixth in the Championship table. Barry Hayles shone with a hat-trick in Tuesday's 3-0 victory at Derby, but assistant manager Wilkins is keen to share out the credit.

He said: "Barry scored a hat-trick against Derby, proving what an excellent finisher he is. We believe that in Barry, Scott Dobie and Danny Dichio we have three strikers who are as good as any in the Championship."

Dobie (hamstring), Paul Ifill (ankle) and Darren Ward (ankle) are all missing for tomorrow's trip to Watford, but Wise should return after suffering dehydration at Derby.

Wise said: "We have done very well in the last five games, but being in the top six now does not interest me. It's where we are in May that is important."
