Wie's off to Birkdale

Teenage golf sensation Michelle Wie will this summer make her debut in the Weetabix British Women's Open.

The 15-year-old American is set to receive a special invitation to play in Britain's only women's major, to be held at Royal Birkdale from 28 to 31 July.

Wie will also play in the Evian Masters in France the week before.
