Skerritt said the players would be "dealt with appropriately" but the West Indies are hardly in a position to start handing out suspensions.
Having been hammered 3-0 in South Africa, Brian Lara's men now face the possibility of becoming the first West Indian team to lose a home Test series to England for 36 years. The attitude of some players in South Africa was criticised and coach Gus Logie said: "We will continue to ask the players for a higher level of discipline and commitment."
But Lara is still hopeful and said: "The team shares the pain caused by the defeat and will be doubling its efforts towards achieving success in this series."
England, meanwhile, will remind their players not to venture out alone when the tour moves to Trinidad later this week following a spate of kidnappings on the island.
Harmison, who took a career best of seven for 12, was in shock and said: "I am speechless about the way things went for me, but we've got to forget about what happened in this game - the next match will be a different day."
