'The player we're sweating on a bit is Tomas Repka,' admitted Pardew today. 'He didn't train yesterday because he wasn't feeling very well, but we are hoping he will be fine.'

The match is not sold out and tickets will be available tonight on the gate, although supporters are advised to arrive early.

Meanwhile, Fulham manager Chris Coleman is hoping that the prize of a quarter-final at Manchester United will inspire his team to rediscover their form.

They won 3-1 at Old Trafford in the Premiership last October, but have not won away from home since.

Things have also started to go awry at Loftus Road in the last few weeks and Coleman thinks that might make West Ham favourites to go through tonight.

He said: 'We are normally better when we are underdogs and I am not sure we won't be underdogs tonight if you look at their form and the fact they are at home with a lively crowd.

'But the possibility of going to Old Trafford for the quarter-final should be more than enough for any player.

'Some people were disappointed with the draw, but I was delighted because I thought it was an opportunity to go back to the best stadium in the country.

'We have already beaten them there once, which was fantastic, and the chance to play them again is incredible. If we can get past West Ham it should be a great game.

'We played well at Old Trafford and that was the highlight for us so far but since then we have been poor away from home.

'A bit of complacency has set in and we need to get back to what we were doing sharpish.'

For Fulham, Zat Knight (foot) should recover in time to play, Alain Goma (hamstring) returns but Ian Pearce is cup-tied and Lee Clark (calf) is still out.
