Ugo Monye's back as Lions ring changes for final assault
One that got away: Lions winger Ugo Monye was dropped after missing this try-scoring opportunity in the First Test but has been picked for the final game with the Springboks
In all there are eight changes, including one positional, from the team that lost 28-25 in the Second Test.
Half backs Stephen Jones and Mike Phillips, skipper Paul O'Connell and Jamie Heaslip are the only players who will have started all three Tests.
The build up to this game has been overshadowed by the bitter recriminations resulting from Schalk Burger's eight-week ban for eye gouging and Springbok coach Peter de Villiers failure to condemn his player's actions.
De Villiers has also repeatedly claimed McGeechan failed to shake his hand on Saturday but the Lions boss today denied that was the case.
"I shook his hand twice actually, to and from different media events," McGeechan said. "Perhaps he had his mind on other things." De Villiers however repeated his assertion today and said: "It's his word against mine."
The Springboks have made 10 changes to their side, with de Villiers eager to rest players with the Tri Nations just three weeks away.
John Smit remains captain while last week's match-winner Morne Steyn plays at fly half with Jaque Fourie at outside centre and the uncapped Zane Kirchner at full back.
