"He's a balanced horse and handling it much better through experience. The main thing was to try and come back and get it right."
Twice Over must break from a wide stall again - 12 of 14 - but Cecil added: "He seems to have got himself settled and I'll think he'll cope with the draw. He had a bad draw last time and we won't make any excuses. He's got a great chance."
The main dangers to Twice Over include Aidan O'Brien's Irish Derby and Irish Champion Stakes hero Cape Blanco, multiple Grade One-winning US challenger Gio Ponti and Godolphin's Poet's Voice, winner of last year's Queen Elizabeth II Stakes at Celebration Mile.
