SportThreat to Fulham bid to get YouriRaoul Simons|Evening Standard13 April 2012Birmingham and Everton are trying to hijack Fulham's bid to sign Youri Djorkaeff. The French forward was due to join the club on a one-year deal last week, but the move stalled over personal terms. As a free agent, the usual transfer window rules don't apply to Djorkaeff, who can move to any club during the season.Fulham's interest in the 36-yearold has alerted David Moyes and Steve Bruce, both of whom are desperate for forward cover.Everton did not sell Wayne Rooney until transfer-deadline day so had little opportunity to sign a replacement, while Birmingham's star striker Mikael Forssell is out for six months with a knee injury.Despite Andy Cole's suspension, Coleman's need for Djorkaeff will be reduced if Tomasz Radzinski continues his recent run.The Canadian has now scored three goals in two games, including the winner in Saturday's 1-0 Premiership victory over Southampton.Coleman said: "I am pleased for Tomasz. He has worked hard. Since he has been here I have played him in numerous positions and he has a good attitude.Read MoreTottenham vs Borussia Dortmund LIVE: Latest score and goal updatesInter vs Arsenal LIVE: Latest score and updates from Champions LeagueTottenham fans dissent with empty seats as pressure piles on FrankSponsoredIncredible days out and trips for autumn and winter"He has worked hard in training, got a couple of goals in the cup during the week and got another good goal on Saturday.
