Sourav Ganguly's young attack is still finding its feet and his batting line-up - despite all the obvious riches - must miss elbow injury victim Sachin Tendulkar. But they are already guaranteed the match that matters most to their fans: v Pakistan.

New Zealand

Far too good for England in one-day cricket this summer and should bemuch too good for most opponents. The conditions won't bother them a bit and they have plenty of individual match-winners plus a well-balanced side. Champions in 2000.

Pakistan

Coach Bob Woolmer is already making his presence felt and this squad of immensely talented, if totally unpredictable, individuals cannot be discounted. They were close to beating Australia in a thriller at Lord's last weekend.

South Africa

They've lost 10 consecutive one-dayers, coach Eric Simons is under pressure and young captain Graeme Smith is feeling the heat. But onewin - against Bangladesh - could light their touch paper and there's enough talent for a challenge.
