Tait is simply a jump ahead

New Zealand's Blyth Tait, riding Ironic, proved a worthy winner of the main class at the Windsor Horse Trials.

An outstanding dressage test gave Tait a lead he never relinquished.

A confident round of cross-country, with only 0.8secs time penalties, and a showjumping clear round earned world and Olympic champion Tait a comfortable victory from Britain's Chris King on Sir Lancelot VI.

Australian Matt Ryan was third on Bonza Katoomba.
