SportSpurs keeping an eye on £30m CissePaul Thomson13 April 2012Tottenham have joined a host of top clubs who are chasing £30 million-rated Auxerre striker Djibril Cisse.He was watched by 12 English clubs, who included Arsenal, Fulham, Charlton and West Ham, as he scored twice in the first 45 minutes for the French Under-21s in Boulogne last week.Among those present was Spurs' director of football David Pleat, who said: "Cisse has got everything. Whatever the price he is on his way."Auxerre manager Guy Roux is reluctant to sell his young star, who has hit 17 goals this season.But Cisse said: "If I had a choice I would go to England."The game there suits me.
