Springboks outplayed by Ireland A

Harry Viljoen suffered his first defeat as Springbok caoch four days beforethe Test against Ireland when his shadow side, containing some of the greathopes of South African rugby, were completely outplayed in a 28-11 loss toa fired-up Ireland A in Limerick.

Once again, a Springbok pack were forced onto the back foot for most ofmatch and the Irish moved the ball all night aftere being given a stream ofpossession.

The game marked the return from injury for Test centre JapieMulder but he hardly saw the ball just like the rest of the Springbokbacks.
