Meanwhile, Fres Oquendo believes his fight with IBF heavyweight champion Chris Byrd is the opportunity of lifetime.
"Mike Tyson, Evander Holyfield and Lennox Lewis, that's history," he said today, on the eve of their confrontation in Connecticut. "This is a new age. Me and Chris Byrd are two of the best out there."
Byrd, 33, will be making his first defence since beating Holyfield last December but Oquendo, three years his junior, said: "I'm young, I'm starving and I'm from the projects in Chicago. This is my chance.
