DTI sources also say the EMDA has already had meetings with the parties involved in the row over the future of the British Grand Prix, including Formula One ringmaster Bernie Ecclestone, head of motorsport's world governing body Max Mosley, the British Racing Drivers' Club, which owns Silverstone, and Octagon, which promotes the British Grand Prix. But the EMDA denies this, saying it has been impossible to arrange any meeting yet and that there is no guarantee of any fresh funds for Silverstone.
