Scott tape scares Medina

A video nasty has given Scott Harrison a nice feeling about his world featherweight title defence in Glasgow on Saturday.

Mexican veteran Manuel Medina, former holder of four world titles, has watched tape of just one round involving the man he will challenge for the World Boxing Organisation's belt at Braehead Arena.

The reason, insists Medina, is that those three minutes were too scary and he wanted to see no more of the powerful Scot. But Harrison said: "If it's true, then Medina hasn't done his homework. Maybe his people don't want to frighten him by seeing a lot of me in action.

"I've watched four or five of his fights on tape and I know what he is capable of."

An impressive display from Harrison, who says the fight won't go beyond seven rounds, could see him secure a September showdown with Marco Antonio Barrera.
