Reyes and Ljungberg give Arsenal Cup boost

Both Jose Reyes and Freddie Ljungberg look certain to be fit for the match after starting the week as injury doubts.

Striker Reyes went off at half-time during the 1-0 win at Middlesbrough four days ago suffering from a dead leg. But he was able to resume training yesterday and will be ready for Cardiff.

Ljungberg missed the game last weekend after picking up a hip injury but he was due to train today and, like Reyes, is likely to be fit to face Blackburn.

With Dennis Bergkamp proving his fitness at Middlesbrough after a calf problem, and Sol Campbell now recovered from an ankle injury that has kept him out of first team action since the start of February, manager Arsene Wenger will have close to a full squad from which to select.

The main notable absentees are French defender Gael Clichy, who is out for the rest of the season with a broken bone in his foot, and Edu who has a thigh problem.
