Rested Gallas feeling blue

William Gallas is exhausted despite not going on either of Chelsea's pre-season tours to Italy or Malaysia.

The defender, who yesterday signed a deal tying him to Stamford Bridge until 2007, played in the Confederations Cup for France last month.

Gallas told Chelsea TV: "I feel tired. I'm sorry I do. But I know myself and I know I'll be ready for the season."
