Raikkonen's warning to Lewis

Kimi Raikkonen warned title rival Lewis Hamilton today he is not yet ready to adopt a tactical approach in his bid to retain his world drivers championship.

Following his dominant victory in Spain a fortnight ago, Raikkonen takes a nine-point lead over Hamilton into this weekend's Turkish Grand Prix, the fifth of 18 rounds, and the Finn said: "If we want to stay ahead in the championship, the easiest thing is keep the others behind in the races. I won't change my approach. It's too early to think of anything else than a victory.

"I'm very happy with the way things have gone so far but the situation can change in a second so we need to push 100 per cent to stay ahead of our competitors."

Ominously for Hamilton and McLaren, Ferrari have won the last two Grands Prix at the Istanbul Park circuit. "I'm convinced we can be really strong there again," added Raikkonen.
