RAC to take over as sponsors of Surrey

Surrey have a new sponsorship deal as they prepare to start building the new ?24million Vauxhall End Stand.

The RAC is set to take over as the club's main backers from Australian company AMP. The deal, to be announced on Monday, will be a record for county cricket.

Former New South Wales and New Zealand coach Steve Rixon is expected to be appointed Surrey's cricket manager next week.
