Brady said: "He has been no problem at all. It was made clear to Quincy what standards are expected at Arsenal and his response has been great. He has played very well and scored lots of goals. He can be offered a professional contract on his 18th birthday in April and that is what he working towards."
He came on against Rotherham in the Carling Cup and threatened to break the deadlock at 1-1 but was denied when keeper Mike Pollitt handled outside his area. Pollitt was sent off and Quincy's moment of potential glory went too.
Quincy, who plays for Dutch Under-19s, said: "When I first joined what I was doing with step-overs and other tricks may have been good entertainment but it was ineffective. The coaches have taught me to be more direct."
Injuries to Dennis Bergkamp, Sylvain Wiltord and Jeremie Aliadiere, and the need to give Thierry Henry a rest, mean Wenger is likely to pair Quincy, who scored 17 goals in 20 youth matches last season, with Nwankwo Kanu tonight.
