Paul said: 'I've signed with Gloucester and that's where I've got to prove myself first. Playing for England is a possibility but my first goal is to play well for the club. 'International rugby was nothing to do with my decision. After talking to clubs Down Under and over here, I decided Gloucester were the best choice - the attitude is similar to when I joined Bradford. 'There is also European football, which was a big pulling point.' In his quest to improve quickly as a union player, Paul can draw on the inspiration of a code-cracking Lions sensation. 'Jason Robinson is a freak of nature, a special talent,' said Paul. 'He is a one-off. There is no-one else like him in rugby league. His success was another drawing point and I would like to make the same sort of impact.' Gloucester coach Philippe Saint Andre said: 'I don't want to put pressure on Henry but I hope he will do for us what Robinson has done for Sale and the Lions.'
