Palace all out for Hall

Crystal Palace were today linked again with Southampton defender Fitz Hall.

Iain Dowie worked with the 23-year-old when he was in charge at Oldham and believes he has great potential. The Palace manager has been chasing Hall for some time and is reportedly ready to pay £750,000 as he tries to strengthen the club for their return to the Premiership.

A young Palace side, including three triallists, last night lost 2-0 at Woking. Goalkeeper Cedric Berthelin was the only experienced player on duty.
