Oval gets go-ahead

Surry have been given planning permission for their £21million scheme to redevelop The Oval.
Work at the Vauxhall end of the ground, which will increase capacity by around 5,000 to 23,000, should be completed in time for the 2005 Ashes Test against Australia.
