Laura Robson to join Bollettieri set-up after coach split

The 19-year-old has gone out at the first-round stage in two of her last three tournaments and will head to the famous Nick Bollettieri Academy in Florida at the end of this season in a bid to rediscover the form that took her to world No27 in July.

Robson, who is now 46th in the rankings, posted on her Facebook page: “Bit of news... Miles and I have decided not to continue our partnership.

“I have great respect for him as a person and coach and look forward to continuing our friendship.

“I will take a couple weeks off to refresh my mind and body.”
