"He's an exciting horse to look forward to next year. The Guineas is still the plan. We are looking at starting him off in the Craven Stakes [at Newmarket in April] beforehand."
Clive Brittain believes that 66-1 shot Zaidan, who won the Chesham Stakes at Royal Ascot, has every chance of springing a surprise in the Dewhurst, despite a subsequent defeat in Newbury's Washington Singer Stakes.
Brittain said: "We've not lost sight with Zaidan. He's declared for the Dewhurst and we don't care what runs. If he's back to his best, don't count him out of it."
