"It's bizarre but it hasn't really sunk in because how bad will I feel if we lose against Wales and there I am equalling the record? I can't think like that so I have to focus on playing, not what's going on around the match."
England are unable to consider Saracens flanker Richard Hill for Sunday's match because of his injured hamstring. As a result, head coach Clive Woodward has chosen Lewis Moody at blind-side flanker with Joe Worsley on the bench.
Matt Dawson has been given the scrum-half duties which means Andy Gomarsall, so impressive in England's 111-13 win over Uruguay, is not in the squad. Woodward has opted for the big-match experience of Dawson and Kyran Bracken despite both players having struggled with fitness and form.
Iain Balshaw's ankle injury, suffered against Uruguay, has recovered sufficiently to allow the Bath wing to be named amongst the replacements with Ben Cohen and Jason Robinson winning starting places.
Simon Shaw, who only arrived in Brisbane yesterday as a replacement for the injured Danny Grewcock, is also on the bench along with Mike Catt who injured his neck in training today. Catt needed a scan before he was selected and this solved a major problem for Woodward as Paul Grayson had already been ruled out by a hamsting strain.
