If the Champions League Final was between the two best teams in Europe, it would have been Barcelona versus Chelsea.
We are both champions in two of the most important leagues in Europe. We are champions with power and arrogance.
What are Chelsea's targets next season?
The main target is to win the title again. This season we won four cups. Next season, with the Community Shield, we'll be in five cups.
The goal is to win two or three. If someone told me that in five years at Chelsea we'll win 10 titles, I'll be pleased.
I'm successful in knockout competitions, so I believe we will also win a European Cup.
Will your second season in England be more difficult?
I'm ready. Manchester United, Liverpool and Arsenal are strong. The teams in the bottom half of the table will try to be better and I believe it will be impossible to get 95 points again.
Will there be many changes in the Chelsea squad?
No. Three out, three in. We are signing a left-back, a midfielder and a striker. We are talking with Del Horno from Bilbao (as revealed in Sportsmail) and after that we will bring in a midfielder and a striker.
Are you still at war with the Premier League and UEFA?
It's fair to say that the Premier League wanted to know why one day, a player, an agent, an executive officer and a manager were seated at the same table.
Did you make an approach to Ashley Cole?
Of course not. But I won't tell you what I told the Premier League.
Did Chelsea approach him?
Or did the player approach Chelsea? This is the real thing. Nobody doubts that there was a meeting with me, Peter Kenyon, Ashley Cole and his agent.
But was it Chelsea that wanted the meeting or the player and his agent that wanted to meet us to say that they would like to move to Chelsea?
You may be unhappy with the Premier League's decision, but you have to understand that they wanted to know what was behind the meeting.
The Premier League has punished all of you with heavy fines. What do you think of that?
We have cooperated, but we are not happy. Chelsea's legal department will keep analysing the case.
And the problems with UEFA?
That's different. I never wanted to be involved, but I was the one who was punished. UEFA decided that Steve Clarke was a liar and Frank Rijkaard was right.
We wanted to appeal to prove we were right, but there was a big risk of the punishment being increased from two matches to four so we decided against it. I felt completely powerless.
Later, Anders Frisk confirmed that he met Rijkaard?
Yes, but I had already been out for two games. Maybe UEFA were getting sick of me. Or maybe three European finals in a row is too much for them.
You considered leaving Chelsea, but you got a better contract?
It was all in a moment of frustration, impotence and injustice. Maybe I was disappointed for thinking that Chelsea were not defending me they way I thought they should.
I'm where I want to be and where I believe I'll be for the next five years.
Do you really believe that you are staying the next five years?
I do, honestly I do. I'm very proud of my career in Portuguese football, but I also wanted to do something else. I couldn't turn down the prospect of England simply because it rains too much or because I prefer to eat grilled sardines on Mondays in Setubal.
Do you really want to go to Italy to see if you can win in the 'tactics kingdom'?
I want to coach in Italy and then the Portuguese national team.
The national team is still a dream?
Of course. Portuguese football has a great potential.
