Victory over Sunderland in Sunday's Cup semi-final would ensure European football next season by virtue of the other finalist, Arsenal or Manchester United, qualifying for the Champions League through the Premiership.
That could mean extra income of between £500,000 and £3m depending on their success and television rights sales. There is also the possibility of a £20m windfall if Millwall make it to the Premiership through the play-offs.
Despite Millwall's improved financial health, Paphitis has indicated Dennis Wise's players are not in line for any special bonuses for getting into Europe.
