Mido eyes European spot with Spurs

Mido said: "We have the quality to go places and to be in Europe next season. We still have a chance in the FA Cup even though we have made it difficult for ourselves."

Spurs travel to Nottingham Forest in tonight's FA Cup fifth-round replay when Mido will be one of four striking options available to head coach Martin Jol. Despite a reputation for arguing with his previous coaches, the 22 year old insists he has no problem with squad rotation.

"I'm not like Fredi Kanoute, or Robbie Keane or Jermain Defoe. We all have different qualities. Whoever starts, we accept it." Centre-backs Ledley King and Noureddine Naybet are doubtful due to groin problems while winger Andy Reid is Cup-tied. Full-back Thimothee Atouba is available after recovering from a minor knee problem.

Nottingham Forest midfielder James Perch could return to the team as David Friio is Cup-tied.

Either Marlon King or David Johnson will replace striker Scott Dobie, who is ineligible having joined from Millwall after the original fifth-round tie.
