There was agreement reached on cost-cutting but the £40m budget cap proposed by Mosley has been scrapped and the rebel teams, Ferrari, McLaren, BMW Sauber, Renault, Toyota, Red Bull, Toro Rosso and Brawn GP, have been told they can retain total control of their own costs.
Confirming the compromise, Mosley said: "There will be no split. We have agreed to a reduction of costs.
