Lions line up Morris deal

Millwall are hopeful of signing former Chelsea midfielder Jody Morris in the next few days.

The 25-year-old is available on a free transfer after being released by Leeds last season and will be offered a two-year contract at The Den.

Morris has a good relationship with manager Dennis Wise from his time at Stamford Bridge and favours a return to London. He has been on loan at Rotherham, who, along with Coventry, are interested in signing him.

A move to Millwall would give Morris a welcome opportunity to revive his career.
