Millwall chairman Jeff Burnige revealed today that he could appoint a new manager by the end of next week.

Burnige said of his search for Dennis Wise's successor: "I see myself interviewing three of four men over the next few days in strict confidentiality."

He also denied reports that Millwall have agreed a fee with Norwich for defender Darren Ward.
