Lennon set for £1.1m deal

World showjumping champion Dermott Lennon is poised to sign a four-year sponsorship deal worth £1.1million.

The Irishman's main backer will be Prince Sultan Bin Fahd Bin Nasser Bin Abdul Aziz of Saudi Arabia, along with a minority group of the Dutch airline company KLM and Sun Microsystems.

The deal will end after the Beijing Olympics in 2008.
