Wylie has been likened to Roman Abramovich on the back of his buy the best and forget the cost policy, but Lee stressed that he feels no more pressure than normal in his new role.
"The great thing about Graham is that what you see is what you get," he said.
"He's got some terrific horses, including Lord Transcend, Royal Rosa, Chivalry and Inching Closer, and it's great to see someone who has spent so much getting such a massive buzz out of being at the races and being involved."
Lee spent some time lodging with AP McCoy during a short stay in the south two years ago and credits the perennial champion jockey with providing advice which has helped him reach his full potential in the saddle.
McCoy will need to pull out something special in order to land Friday's big prize, but plans to bypass Kempton in favour of better rides at a lesser fixture have now been shelved so that he can partner the Martin Pipe-trained outsider Tiutchev in the £160,000 showpiece.
