"I hear the grey horse is back on track for the Gold Cup and that's great news as he'll add a hell of a lot to the race," he added.
"Akilak looks a serious Triumph Hurdle contender, and although I was injured when Inglis Drever won at Wincanton the other week I spoke to AP McCoy and he was very complimentary about him."
No decision has been made as to whether Inglis Drever tackles the Champion Hurdle or the Ladbrokes' World Hurdle, but Lee feels "he would have a solid chance whichever race he goes for."
He added: "I'm aiming to go to Howard's on Thursday to school the Cheltenham horses. We'll know more after that, but I have some great rides to look forward to and one I'm particularly looking forward to is Lennon in the Festival Bumper."
Lennon was still available at 16-1 for the Bumper when the entries were published today, but the feature of the market is the gamble developing around Missed That.
Cashmans cut the six-year-old from 7-1 to 3-1 favourite following an impressive workout at Leopardstown yesterday, and the gamble could gather further momentum after his trainer Willie Mullins described him as "as good as any of my four previous winners of the Cheltenham Bumper."
Meanwhile, punters who have taken a fall through a series of high profile non-runners at the Festival now have the safety net of a non-runner no bet clause with several major firms.
Corals, Totesport, Skybet and Betfred are among those offering the concession, which is especially valuable given that so many fancied horses have more than one option at the Festival.
