Khan not worried

Nothing worries Amir Khan, even when Great Britain's only Olympic boxer is facing the European champion for a place in the lightweight quarterfinals.

Khan, the 17-year-old who marked his Games debut earlier in the week with a classy performance against local Greek hero Marios Kaperonis, was set to come face to face with the vastly more experienced Dimitar Stilianov of Bulgaria this afternoon inside the Peristeri Boxing Hall.

But Khan, supported by a host of family and friends here, insisted he had got over first-fight nerves. "The Bulgarian is a good lad," he said. "But I'm confident.

"I'll be going in more relaxed and more confident than I was in the first fight. I know I'll have to start faster and be a lot sharper, but I think I'll be all right."
