Kezman: Ten clubs are lining up to end my misery

Chelsea striker Mateja Kezman has threatened to quit the club unless Jose Mourinho gives him a regular first team place.

The Serbia and Montenegro international joined Chelsea from PSV Eindhoven for £5million as one of the most prolific hitmen in European football.

He had scored 105 goals in 123 appearances for PSV but at Chelsea has managed so far only four in 24 Premiership matches.

Kezman, 26, said: "I cannot cope with this for very much longer - I am now at the peak of my career. If I know I have another year like this ahead it makes no more sense and I will go to the big boss [Roman Abramovich] and talk to him."

Kezman claimed he had many clubs interested in securing his services.

He said: "At this moment there are 10 clubs interested in me. I am keeping the PSV option open and know I am always welcome there and still want to play there. I don't know where my future lies."

Kezman's comments come as another Chelsea player, Williams Gallas, told a Spanish newspaper that Barcelona want him. The French central defender has become frustrated at being asked to play at left-back. He told El Mundo Deportivo: "Yes Barcelona want to sign me."
