Kezman: Drogba is my ideal partner

Mateja Kezman wants talks with Chelsea about his future as soon as the season ends.

Kezman, who joined Chelsea from PSV Eindhoven last year for £5 million, has started just two Premiership matches and looks likely to leave once the last ball is kicked in earnest.

The striker, though, believes things could have been different had he been partnered with Didier Drogba.

Kezman said: "It would be nice to play two strikers. I have never played alongside Didier, but it is the manager's decision.

"We have three games left but when they are done I need to speak to the manager and people at the club about my situation.

"I have talked to the manager regularly because he is an open guy, but I want to play regularly. "I like to play alongside a big striker - that's how I scored my goals in the past.

"I perform best when I play regularly, but now I don't have that. When you just come on for 10 or 15 minutes it's difficult.

"You lose your confidence and physically you're not at your best - they are the main reasons I haven't scored many."
