Jurgen Klinsmann: Pride's all we have to play for

Bayern Munich coach Jurgen Klinsmann has promised that his team will make their fans proud tonight, even though he admits his team have no chance of reaching the semi-finals of the Champions League.

The Germans go into their second leg having lost the first tie against Barcelona 4-0 last week.

Bayern are hoping to have defender Philipp Lahm back in their line-up but Klinsmann accepts it won't make any difference.

He said: "We are not going to beat them by four goals and we are aware of that. But we will play with pride and character and we will give our fans a good Champions League game.

"We're all but out of the Champions League but we still want to win if possible.

"Barcelona are the best team in the world and to play such teams again we need to win the title."

Barca coach Pep Guardiola will watch the game from the stands having been sent off last week for protesting over English referee Howard Webb's decision to book Lionel Messi.

He insisted that his team will not be over-confident despite the margin of the first-leg win.

"Bayern can score four goals and even more when they're on the back foot," Guardiola insisted.
