"As for being left out, it happens to every player. The special situation with a goalkeeper is that once you are left out, you may never come back. But I battled to get back."
Wenger has basically assured Lehmann after the FA Cup win that he will start next season as first choice but the German is not focusing on that yet.
He said: "Next season? I haven't even thought about it. I am just looking forward to a five-day rest and then I have to be with the Germany team in the Confederations Cup.
"Arsenal are always looking for new players. I am realistic. If you find a fantastic young guy at a reasonable price, then you are going to get him.
"But I have an honest relationship with the manager. He has always told me what is going on and I am certain he will do so in the future."
